All you need is a child’s stationery kit to pull off this mini graffiti project.
Meet M, the magazine rack that holds all my junk papers in the hallway. She’s the halfway house for all my random un-filed letters and leaflets (and sometimes hide some stowaway Lego toys as well). I found her on etsy many months ago and isn’t she the most elegant magazine rack you’ve seen?
I thought so! Then one rainy day, sitting in my living room, she suddenly looked really plain to me. I’m suddenly struck with a lightning bolt of inspiration: I could decorate M by giving her a tattoo.
I’ve been obsessed with this falling cubes print for some time now so I couldn’t wait to apply it on M. I basically just traced out the pattern with pencil and ruler then used my daughter’s fabric pens to colour it in. Half a day and it was done! Now I want to paste this pattern on every surface of the house.
